Wilfrid Laurier University: I attended Laurier from 2004 - 2008, graduating with a Combined Honours in English and Contemporary Studies, as well as a minor in Criminology. During my time at Laurier, I met many great professors and made a few friends. In fact, two of my professors attended my wedding.

In addition, I spent many months working in the Accessible Learning Center, working on the website, as well as transcription for students with visual disabilities. The time spent in this office, working with students and various textbook companies, has given me motivation for specific studies in my courses in the MET program at UBC.
