ETEC531: Media Production 2
At first, I wasn't sure what to do with this assignment. The idea of uploading our brains? Then I had a few ideas, but they seemed far too grand for me to be able to implement on my own. Then, I reached the goal destination - use what I already knew! As a self-proclaimed geek, it was fairly easy for me to think of the many places that I had seen this theme (uploading brains, memories) before. From there, it was fairly easy for me to decide what to do with the assignment. While I wouldn't have minded yet another edit on the project, it has to end somewhere! And I am very pleased and proud of the final product.

Theoretical Reflection and Connection:
This project was completed during my first term, but does not have much to do, specifically, with my overarching theory of Technology as an Equalizer. I mostly had a lot of fun with it. However, when one looks at this project from view of Technology as an Equalizer, it is easy to pick out the accessibility bits - such as the project's idea of uploading one's brain into a common format, the scientific ideas of splicing one's brain and uploading it, and the up and coming scientific use of a micro-microchip being implanted into a physically-disabled person's brain and allowing them to control devices such as a TV, computer, and the lights.
